Happy 2024!🎆

On this last day of 2023, The Language of Friendship team would like to thank you for exploring friendship with us. Whether you’ve liked or commented on our posts, or even just quietly enjoyed them, we appreciate your companionship and look forward to continuing our journey with you.

As we look ahead to 2024, we looked back on some of our most widely shared posts from 2023. We are noting a few of them below. We plan on delving in further to these topics and more in 2024.

100 Ways to Celebrate Friendship: In celebration of our 100th blog post in early 2023, we shared 100 ideas for honoring a friendship in your life, ranging from sharing a favorite song to planning a trip together!

Survey Results: Friendship on the Job: When we started writing about friendship, we recognized there are many types of connections that lead to friendship, including ones formed at work.  We were so intrigued by the value of work friendships that we surveyed friends and readers to learn more.

Saying Goodbye to a (Furry) Friend: Bonds with pets is another type of friendship we’ve explored in our posts.  Pets can bring us so much unexpected joy. Even when they are only briefly in our lives, pets can make pawprints in our hearts that last forever.

Friendship Hacks: Let’s face it, life gets busy sometimes and it can be hard to carve out time for friends. Cultivating relationships is important, so we shared ideas for keeping friendships top of mind, even when you can’t connect in person or are short on time.

Friendship Poems: Research shows that savoring friendships improves one’s emotional, mental and physical health. This post shares several poems reflecting on the universal importance of friendships.

Cheers to good health, peace and friendship in 2024!
