Luck of the Irish ☘️

With St. Patrick’s Day coming up this week, you don’t have to be Irish to get out and enjoy good times with friends. Many towns have parades and celebrations in honor of their citizens with Irish heritage this weekend. Pubs and restaurants often offer specials. World events may feel a bit grim lately, so taking an opportunity to connect with our communities and lift our moods is always important for our overall well-being.

In honor of St. Patrick’s Day, I’ve collected several Irish proverbs and blessings that revolve around friendship. I hope you find them as inspiring and amusing as I do.

There are good ships and there are wood ships, ships that sail the sea. But the best ships are friendships, may they always be.

May love and laughter light your days, and warm your heart and home. May good and faithful friends be yours, wherever you may roam.

May your home always be too small to hold all of your friends.

A best friend is like a four-leaf clover: hard to find and lucky to have.

May the hinges on our friendship never grow rusty.
